@retracjnarat2@NintendoStoreUK I hope I'm wrong but it could just be to appease investors. Happens quite often unfortunately. Half the games announced for Sep/Oct will probably end up being delayed as well. I was just very surprised that it's due in the next 6 months, but they couldn't show anymore of it.
Doom and Age of Empires creator Sandy Petersen blasts Amazon over their handling of Stargate:
"1) get handed a massively popular IP that spans 17 years of successful shows."
"2) realize it has millions of loyal fans, desperate for more. They are now in their 40s and 50s, flush with money. Eager to teach their kids & grandkids about Stargate."
"3) you could start with this. You are already three steps up the ladder to huge success. The fans will evangelize it, if you don't wreck the IP. Don't believe it? Look how the fans evangelized Battlestar Galactica after its 30 year hiatus. And the initial Dr Who reboot after 15 years."
"4) cancel the project because you want a "new take" that will eliminate all the loyal fans and turn them into bitter enemies."
"It's like an ancient Greek play about hubris."
Why are corporate execs like this?
For those mainly Pakistani men who have inflicted the very worst pain imaginable on innocent British children, please know this.
There will come a day when the power of the British state that concealed your atrocious crimes for so very long is turned against you.
It will be swift. It will be brutal. It will be severe.
Because if Restore Britain gets a sniff of power, there will be a reckoning. I promise you that.
We will show you the same mercy you showed our girls.
Your race or religion will not protect you any longer.
A message will be sent that is heard right across the world.
If you rape our children, you will pay for it - and you will pay for it with everything.
That is what Restore Britain will do.
Just heard that Sir Alex Ferguson is doing well and has been discharged from the hospital following his precautionary visit earlier today.... Absolutely wonderful news ❤️
Sony Pictures boss slams theaters for 'endless advertising' before movies 🍿
"Get rid of the endless advertising and substantially shorten the pre-shows ... Get off the ad crack"
Hopefully this isn’t controversial, but if I’m paying for a streaming service, there shouldn’t be ads period. Not on Disney+, Amazon, Hulu, none of it.
Ads belong on free versions of these platforms. If advertisers are already paying to run their ads, why am I also paying to watch them?
