I honestly think Barcelona should renew Xavi Espart’s contract as soon as possible and set his release clause at €200M.

You never know what could happen. He could develop into another Pau Cubarsí or become a top-level talent who attracts interest from the biggest clubs. PSG already know how valuable La Masia talent can be, and even Luis Enrique could be tempted to take another Barça gem with him.

One of the things that has annoyed me the most lately has been Mourinho’s comments.

Forget the fact that he basically admitted that Rodri chose Barcelona’s project over Madrid’s. He then went back to the same old “Negreira” narrative we’ve heard countless times before.

Mourinho has fallen into the exact same trap as Ancelotti, Xabi Alonso and Arbeloa before him.

And honestly, he should be one of the people who understands this better than anyone. During that period, Barcelona didn’t need any refereeing help to dominate everyone. The football on the pitch was more than enough.

But he chose to follow the same media narrative we all know where it leads.

The funny part? History keeps repeating itself.

And hopefully, Flick will give him the same harsh lesson on the pitch that he gave everyone who came before him. ❤️💙
