@realma1na@historyinmemes No one needs to be a billionaire to solve any of their personal needs. A normal person would enjoy life with a few millions instead of obsess over bigger numbers.
@Hooky310@Forbes Most successful people had a leg up in some way.
I can't really fault them for that in particular except for when they turn around and call themselves self made, criticizing anyone who can't do the same, while also using their power to make things even harder for the rest of us.
@rohvemula@Forbes The stock market is not a good indicator for the health of the economy or cost of living. We'd be far better off without these people that hoard wealth and make us slaves to stock values.
@Pintabs88@NBCNews Gamers are always mad about something, and that something is always meaningless bullshit rooted in entitlement and narrow mindedness.
@NBCNews New games require new hardware. Manufacturing millions of PS6s with drives increases cost. Music on vinyl is niche and produced generally in low quantities.
New music and movies can be played on ancient evergreen hardware. Digital is inevitable.
@Y192814512@Ludvicus Truth right here, and this is honestly an inevitability to an industry going mainstream. Passion is at an all time low and instead we're stuck with talentless devs chasing trends and quick money.
@AngelaLMorabito Sounds like a complete failure by the student. What's actually been learned and retained here? What value does a person bring to a job if their skillset boils down to requesting assistance on simple tasks?
@Pirat_Nation The company that has milked the same few franchises to death over 30 years and has left half of them to rot has "tons" of unannounced projects? Good for them, I guess. Who is even left at Blizzard of any relevance? Is Jason anything more than a tabloid journalist at this point?
@DailySowell Only a complete moron doesn't understand and acknowledge that life is a sequence of events influenced by things both in and out of our control. We can't control the circumstances thrust upon us but we can control how we respond to them.
@Pirat_Nation Thinking there is legal recourse to how a company chooses to distribute media is peak entitlement. Tell me, how many albums exactly were released on cassette last year?
There are a lot of implications in continuing to support physical media in games that doesnt exist in music.
