HEADS UP! 🚀🚀 Florida’s Space Coast is set for an exciting back-to-back stretch with two rocket missions...including one TONIGHT at 8:52 PM. The Atlas V launch this evening will have broadband satellites onboard as Amazon builds a global satellite internet network to rival Starlink. On Wednesday morning, SpaceX is preparing the massive Falcon Heavy rocket...one of the most powerful operational rockets in the world. If conditions cooperate, the mission could feature one of the most spectacular sights: the return of its two side boosters for synchronized landings at Cape Canaveral, producing double sonic booms that can echo across the entire Space Coast.

The Artemis II astronauts have splashed down at 8:07pm ET (0007 UTC April 11), bringing their historic 10-day mission around the Moon to an end.

Orion's main parachute has deployed. The spacecraft has a system of 11 chutes that will slow it down from around 300 mph to 20 mph for splashdown.
