nothing stays, the seasons turn
from fire to frost, the candles burn
moments slip like grains of sand
no heartache lasts, no pain will stand
the rivers flow, the winds will change
life rearranges, sometimes strange
smiles and tears will come and go
like winter ice or summer snow
so do not stress, do not despair
all things move, all things repair
what seems eternal fades away
tomorrow brings a brighter day
i write for those who need a reminder that nothing lasts forever
everything changes
the clouds drift, the sun sets
smiles fade, tears dry
what feels permanent now
will one day be a memory
so breathe
let go of the weight
release the tension that isn’t yours to carry
trust the flow, the rhythm, the passing of time
even storms dissolve into calm
i write for those who need a reminder that nothing lasts forever
