We need more of our Republican elected’s, organizations and voters combatting the noise of the biggest lie being told, which is, “A vote for Sliwa is a vote for Mamdani.” Perhaps you’ve seen videos talking about this nonsense?
Truth is @CurtisSliwa is one of two major party candidates and we need to stay united.
There are fake accounts being boosted on X convincing our own party members to vote for Cuomo. His disastrous policies are what put our city in the lawless state we are in now. Vote for change. Vote for Curtis. Stay united. He can and will win.

Congratulations to our Chairman Tony Nunziato on being re-elected to another 2 year term as Chairman of the Queens County GOP with an overwhelming 80% of the vote this evening. Congratulations!
New York City Council Minority (Republican) Leader @JoannAriola32 (R-Ozone Park), and Council Minority (Republican) Whip @VickieforNYC (R-Whitestone) were also on hand at the meeting to lend their support to @CurtisSliwa.
“Curtis Sliwa has given a lifetime of service to this City, and he is uniquely qualified to deal with the problems plaguing our City at this challenging time in our history,” said Queens GOP Chairman, Anthony “Tony” Nunziato.
QUEENS COUNTY GOP ENDORSES CURTIS SLIWA FOR MAYOR
Glendale, NY—February 20, 2025—The Queens County Republican Party is proud to announce its endorsement of Guardian Angels founder and radio personality, Curtis Sliwa, as its candidate for New York City Mayor in the 2025 Election
Today, the Republican Delegation of the New York City Council elected me as the Minority Leader.
I am so proud to have the trust of our delegation to be their Minority Leader. Our delegation is dominated by women, as is the City Council as a whole. I take this role very seriously and will work hard to make sure our delegation
receives the respect and inclusion it deserves. The Minority Leadership will allow me to help and work with all of my colleagues in every borough to fight for what everyday New Yorkers want. I promise to continue to be the voice of common sense and continue to fight for our safety, quality of life and our freedom. As in the past, I will continue to work across the aisle to get the job done for all our residents and I am already working with President Trump’s administration to see how they can affect much needed change for us here in New York City.
Council Member Vickie Paladino was appointed at Minority Whip of the delegation. I look forward to working together with Minority Whip Paladino and the entire delegation to affect change for our city.
The following is a statement on the recent minority leader vote:
I’d like to begin by stating that I was personally never interested in the role of minority leader, and never submitted myself for consideration. The responsibilities of minority leader require additional time in City Hall, and I prefer to maintain my focus within my district.
With that said, my choice for minority leader is JoAnn Ariola. I made this decision because I believe JoAnn to be an able leader and I’m interested in building the Queens Republican organization.
Others in my caucus and party at large may feel differently and I fully respect that. Our other option in the race, David Carr, is a good friend and would also make an outstanding minority leader.
Frankly, the GOP is lucky to have so much talent available in our caucus.
There is now a small procedural disagreement that needs to play out regarding yesterday’s vote, but nobody should be under the impression that this is anything other than a friendly contest between close allies.
Regardless of the outcome, the Republican caucus will have a strong leader, focused on delivering common sense to this city and growing our influence on the Council.
So New York’s bail law allows you to attack a political candidate with a knife and be released on your own recognizance within hours? Maybe there should be a carve out for would-be assassins. Wow.
The top aide to @NYGovCuomo has admitted to the premeditated & willful violation of state laws, clearly amounting to federal obstruction of justice. He has abused his power & destroyed the trust placed in his office. Impeachment and prosecution discussions must begin right away.
