You really have to love the hypocrisy of these people who absolutely hate Amazon yet rearrange the city to accommodate them. Why not encourage consumers to walk to a store instead?
As New Yorkers’ demand for package delivery increases, so does the need to more efficiently manage our limited public street space.
Microhubs are a smart way to prevent large, dangerous, and polluting trucks from making unnecessary trips on the streets of our city.
Serious question: What happens when an ambulance or fire truck can’t get through because the street has been narrowed down to a single lane for bike infrastructure?
Look at this mess.
Who thought this was a good idea?
Man, this only comes around once a year meanwhile he's photographed bowing in prayer every week. At least he's letting us know which constituents matter.
Gov. Hochul brushes off Mamdani's endorsement of a controversial House candidate targeting Rep. Adriano Espaillat:
“I’m not going to comment on what others do with their elections... It’s a free country. They can endorse whoever they want, whatever rationale they have."
The reason this isn't on MTA's or Mamdani's radar is because it only gives Rockaway a second subway option. Not many are driving north-south other than to reach the highways that take them elsewhere. It won't take cars off the road.
Did Mamdani just kill the QueensLink subway? 🤯🚇
@NYCMayor has now come out against the proposal to convert the long-abandoned @LIRR Rockaway Beach Branch into a new subway line connecting central Queens to the broader NYC transit network.
The debate is fascinating because the corridor already exists.
One side sees:
🚇 New subway service
⏱️ Faster commutes
🏙️ Better transit access for Queens
The other sees:
🌳 The Highline of Queens
The bigger question:
In a city facing a housing crisis, congestion, and transit demand, should a rare existing rail corridor be preserved for trains or converted into a park?
That's a debate New Yorkers are going to be having for a long time.

@dahvnyc Have you ever looked in to the harassment and intimidation from @TransAlt and @openplans on everyday constituents over the last 5 years?
New Yorkers had enough, and are fighting back.
This crash video from richie_engineer on Instagram shows why e-vehicles + two-way bike lanes are such a menace. Richie ended up with a cracked clavicle, the unidentified e-biker sped off telling him to "go cry about it" and he had to hire PI to track him down to sue him.
Aren't we oversaturated with the drag events? The OG gays I grew up around weren't into it at all. It seems to be geared more toward virtue signalling straight people.
