I think Keighley has found his perfect game awards muppets in Statler and Waldorf. Those guys need to be on this show every year, and, in fact, most public televised events from now on. The Olympics should be able to cut to two old guys trash talking the event every half hour.
@NataliiSpeaks@StarPandee I do think it's worth mentioning Origami King came out during the pandemic, so people were buying more games to pass the time. 2024 was a pretty busy year for games, and not every one is gonna prioritize a remaster.
@AwooMat At least with 3d all stars games were in HD and they made the textures "smoother", and Sunshine had never been re-released before. I saw with Skyward Sword they made a lot of the beginning handholdy tutorials optional, which is neat.
I wonder if they reason they haven't put Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD on Switch is because they think it'd be bad PR to rerelease a remaster. Asking people to triple dip with no new content or changes is probably really hard to spin in marketing.
Octo expansion having micro aggressions to subtly build on the racial allegories that the game had. Cause why did Tartar stereotype Eight like that LOL
