I drum, I dream. I dare to liberate the healthcare system, giving it back to patients through Bitcoin, decentralization, encryption, & self sovereignty
@stats_feed Language. Just about everything else, in terms of progress, depends on language. Civilization, sciences, art…. It all leans upon the ability to communicate.
@dotkrueger Your assessment is based on Newtonian physics without regard to quantum mechanics. Using such a lens limits the possibilities you would otherwise consider. There is well above a nonzero position that your assessment is false.
@Vivek4real_ Spoiler alert Chamath… Central banks are one of the primary reasons Bitcoin was created (see genesis block inscription). After critical mass is reached, central banks become obsolete.
@RealKeithWeiner Like hell it doesn’t. If I transact a large sum of gold with you as the recipient, are you NOT going to assay any of the bullion you receive?
@LynAldenContact DOGE was definitively underwhelming. However, cutting $1 trillion from the deficit while deficit spending at a rate of about $1 trillion per 100 days was only going to slow our approach to the $40 trillion debt milestone.
@steve_hanke A growing fraction of the world’s 8.2 billion people, all of whom have been disenfranchised by debased global fiat currency - they support it. Not to mention the most powerful network the world has ever seen (1.06 ZH/s). Yeah, that also supports it.
@Rajatsoni Because she paid into SS security her entire working life AND was responsible enough to invest and save in addition. Some who receive SS chose to blow their income on new cars, expensive vacations, and credit card debt. Why are they entitled to this woman’s social security funds?
@JacobKinge Sooooo, to summarize: he survived the dotcom bubble, is worth over $5 billion, and took MicroStrategy from a market cap of $1.5B to $55B in 5 years. Jacob, what are YOUR credentials?
@ALadyNamedKatie It IS a big deal. You’re not alone. There are a lot of us out here who have chosen sobriety. I’ve been sober for over 4 years. There will be a rough days here and there, but stay the course. It gets easier and easier. The clarity of mind and of spirit make it all worthwhile.
@MichaelAArouet I’m a doc. I’ll make 10.5% more this year than I did my first year in 2009. Not exactly on pace with the cost of living, but I can easily put food on the table and clothe my children. My point being - physicians and nurses are NOT the driver of increasing health care costs.
