I'm riding across Morocco this winter on a diminutive 90cc children's "Monkey" motorcycle to help save the rainforests and sequester carbon with Cool Earth. Please help me reach my $1000 goal by donating here: https://t.co/8iWY6Tz2Wo #rainforest#CSUF#ClimateAction
My 3rd Zoom lecture, still rough but getting better. I'm taking a Dora the Explorer Approach to questions for the class. "If you said Dew Point good job!" at about 16:30 my Dads dog, Mini ran into my computer. https://t.co/07bp2pIZ9T

Field work in Semi Valley today. Sampling for radioisotope analysis #CSUF#research@L_tulipifera and @dendrotrog it's been a while since I've ran a saw in NM 2016
@dendrotrog @L_tulipifera Notice my proper application of safety gear. Note the placement of the screen and muffs. Guess they were there if I needed them! Thanks for all the lessons G-Honey!

Congrats to
@csuf own Olivia Hinton her paper titled "Dendroclimatology in Yellowstone: Response of Trees within the Greater Yellowstone Ecoregion" won her the 2019 California geographical society Geophiscal Graduate Student Paper of the Year!
Sometimes I think about an alternate life where I went into TV meteorology things like this remind me why that is a bad idea! Check out my #awkward on camera interview on climate change. https://t.co/0wL8CP7D7u
#CSUFgeography weather station reported precipitation rates of nearly 1.5"/hour this morning. So far @csuf campus has received 2/3rds of an inch, precipitation expected to continue throughout the day but with less intensity. For the latest station data: https://t.co/gGY7AUPwTx
#AtmosphericRiver viewed from space 🛰️ Additional pulses of moisture will bring periods of moderate to heavy rain to the #BayArea through Wednesday. #cawx#caflood
@Dendrogobbler I gave several when I was at IU for internal IU programs and it didn't seem like it mattered they all got in. I think if it was something really important like a MS position at another university I'd be hesitant. I also always signed them as "Trevis Matheus Associate Instructor"
Last sampling trip for #NSFfunded project to reconstruct tropical cyclone precipitation using the the latewood of tree rings from longleaf pine. These sites in NC and SC are difficult to reach but beautiful 200+ year old trees with old stumps that go back to early 1600s
