@AIViveFC @Mhoni_Hiyst Very few defenders better than Cancelo offensively, but defender must defend well too. Cucurella is a well balanced player, who can help you at both ends of the pitch, that's why he is better than Cancelo and Balde overall. Them two are defensively not as good as Cucurella.

@AIViveFC @Mhoni_Hiyst Cucurella already in different tier. Balde is defensively mid tier and offensively he is even worse. Cancelo at 32 better than him, because he can pass the ball not only to the player who is beside him, but also reads the game and can pass the ball any distance he wants.

@Mhoni_Hiyst Madrid in the last two years have changed their entire back line and here we are hoping Balde and Kounde will be back to their best somehow. We need to discard Araujo and Christensen for example. No dice on that one. Kounde and Balde are getting worse as well. Not promising.

@Mhoni_Hiyst I don't we will sign anyone, considering we are keeping Christensen. That says a lot. Martin and Cubarsi - the main pair. Christensen and Araujo + Eric are options from the bench. We are to keep Cancelo and that's it.

@AIViveFC @Mhoni_Hiyst I agree he is not worth 50 mil. But you pay for quality and in today's market you must pay the asking price if you want the player. Gordon is not worth 80 mil,but we paid for him that price, because in the long run that move hopefully pay off, the same with Cucurella.

But he lacks qualities to be a top left back, he lacks tenacity defensively and lacks skills offensively. At his top form he can fool you and one may think that he is a top player, but he is not.

@Mhoni_Hiyst I'm not convinced by him really. Especially in the last season he was defensively lacking. He is quick and decent on the ball. But defensively he is not that reliable I think. Maybe that's my take from what I've seen from him in this season. Maybe he would improve at Barca...
