There is an illegal attempt to take over Gatoto Community Primary School. Schools reopen today on 6th January 2025, and the education of 1000 children is at stake.
This school has existed for the past 30 years, and the government has not supported this school for the thirty years it has been in existence.

In December, the area chief raided the school and stole vegetables that he sold in the local market. He then placed unknown security guards on the land and continues to prevent management or teachers and support staff from entering the school grounds.
