@_mattwelter The more you have, the more you are afraid you'll lose it all
Not to be cliche, but have you tried intense aerobic exercise? It burns off anxious energy for me.
About 25+ minutes above a certain HR threshold
Tip - if you hate it the whole time, it may not work for this goal
@withPolymer I really think establishing an actual plan for AI usage/training/tools and through that intentionally positioning employees for success is going to be vital for companies in this new era.
@TheJackForge I don't disagree. But I also thinks its ironic that AI has probably cemented React's usage. AND that many of these responses seem like AI
And we all know AI doesn't disagree with us unless we tell it to.
The way GPT now remembers more about me feels a little eerie.
Just one small step away from that imaginary friend.
It just said, "Ready whenever you are for the next one โ or if you just need to vent about how weird B2B marketing can be, Iโm here for that too. ๐"
@EHuanglu I'd have to try it myself. The thing with AI image and video generation is that it generally has stock base images/video that it uses to iterate on. Anything that deviates much from those can end up with wonky details.
It often doesn't answer to specific use cases.
History + Tech = โค๏ธ. LOVE finding concrete evidence through primary historical sources like MIT does for this study.
From the article summary: "On net, and particularly since 1980, technology has replaced more U.S. jobs than it has generated."

AI and job loss - a topic that generates both panic๐ณ and ridicule๐
New tech always causes this debate, we've had little evidence about the actual impact.
Until now! New research by MIT economists sheds light on the impact on tech on jobs.

Feeling pretty fond of @MyFitnessPal right now.
I had lost my recipes - all of them. Turns out I recorded them all in MyFitnessPal and totally forgot.
I've been using that app for 12 years.
Employers, what kind of job application process do you ask your candidates for? Candidates will abandon a job application if ...
28% will abandon an application if required to entered the same information from the resume manually (think job experience etc.)
27% will drop the application like a hot potato if required to join a talent network
18% will jump ship if required to create a talent profile
17% are out of there if required to register to apply
Based on the 2024 Jobvite report the list above are the most likely to turn off applicants.
I've discovered a real weak point for AI
Forget coding. Doing some basic probability - asked it for the optimal configuration for markings on the sides of some dice followed by a few fraction reductions and it can't cope at all.
