Part of being as transparent as possible is sharing info about potentially awkward moments, like when people leave PostHog.

Just had a team member share their exit feedback, so I shared it with all employees (with permission!).

My main takeaways:

- we need to invest more in product design

- there's a missing layer of product thinking below James and me

- we need to start facilitating 360 feedback from people on different teams (right now it's all from immediate teammates)

Sir Hogworth is delighted to inform the public that these and other wild users can now be tracked automatically with PostHog's Replay Vision tool.

It prioritizes the problems worth surfacing, and it brings the findings to whoever is meant to receive them.
More field notes, less wading through fields of Session Replays.

It is our privilege to report the findings of Esteemed Naturalist Sir Bartholomew Hogworth, F.R.S. upon his recent trip to your Session Replay tab.

While reporting back to the conservatory weary, his discoveries of new users will prove revolutionary, aiding to classify species hitherto undocumented.

The Console-Opener (Devtoolus curiosus)

- Indistinguishable from a normal user at first glance, until the moment the keyboard shortcut is pressed. From that point on the skin mottles and darkens, and the eyes acquire focus.

The Halfway Houdini (Abandonus formularis)

- Caught mid-flight, always. Wings spread, body angled away from the screen. Has typically completed 60–70% of a form before the decision to leave.

MCP analytics is the new web analytics.

We made ours public, and built a leaderboard of the most popular models, harnesses, tools, and more we see at PostHog.

Here's what it shows:

Also, in 93% of cases, agents are telling us why.

This lets us make better tools for agents. It's like a mini user interview.
