@BigRacksRuss@crosbyt123@Acyn So I think this is the whole Bill Cosby view point.Remember years ago when Bill used to critique young black culture on twitter real hard.I think the critique of your own is because you care about your own.I ain’t gonna front like cats don’t throw soft balls at Trump he is POTUS
@The_Source_Plug@crosbyt123@Acyn But can we not critique or sisters and aunties. Like are they off limits to critique? Or reporting on? Or commentating on. Like if he tried to clown them or not acknowledge their talent and hard work that would be one thing.
@crosbyt123@Acyn I hear you. If he didn’t mention how talented, educated and hard working these ladies are that would be one thing but saying he would move different if he was Jasmine (which I disagree) or saying the reasons he believes Joy was fired this isn’t vile stuff.
@Acyn I think the whole thumbs down thing to an active member of the NABJ (without an offline convo) who has done things for your institution and provided mentorship & opportunities is whack. I also think running to talk to your boy on Fox News about black business is whack. 🤦🏾♂️
@crosbyt123@Acyn This is my frustration. This is a critique…Matter of fact I remember watching this live thinking this is a bad take but to say it’s s disparaging is where yall lose me. We should be able to respectfully disagree w/ each other without name calling.
@jemelehill Every once in a while, after viewing the comment section, I just have to remind myself. More people “liked” than “commented”. It’s gonna be alright.
