@Agent_Trevelyan Q furrowed his brows and glanced over at Alec. "He resigned today. You'll have to call Headquarters."

@Agent_Trevelyan Q nodded with a small sigh. "Yeah. It'll just take some getting used to. You've always been there when I needed you, but now..." That would be the most difficult cult part, adjusting to work without Alec.

@Agent_Trevelyan Q furrowed his brows as he reached for the phone, bringing it to his ear while he held Alec's hand. "Hello?"

@Agent_Trevelyan Q chuckled softly and leaned up to kiss him. "Finish writing that book of yours and maybe I'll be able to retire early."

@Agent_Trevelyan "One day, it will be," Q replied, sighing softly. Reaching up, he gently ran his fingers through alec's hair.

@Agent_Trevelyan Q leaned against him with a small smile. He was glad they could have the day together to unwind after everything.

@Agent_Trevelyan Q finished the tea and made a cup for each of them before bringing them through and joining him on the couch. He set alec's cup on the table and leaned into him as he sipped from his own.

@Agent_Trevelyan Q made his way to the kitchen and put the kettle on, giving himself a moment to breathe while he waited for it to boil.

@Agent_Trevelyan Q nodded and pulled away from him. "You go ahead. I need some tea first. I'll be there in a minute."

@Agent_Trevelyan Q nodded as he leaned into the embrace, wrapping his arms around Alec in return. "I know," he said quietly. "I love you, too."

@Agent_Trevelyan Q nodded, staying quiet as Bug began to lead them back home. He didn't know what he'd do without either of them.

@Agent_Trevelyan "Neither can i," Q replied softly with a nod. "I love you. I feel like I don't say that enough." He went quiet, leaning into Alec as they walked.

@Agent_Trevelyan "Well, it's not like we haven't tried," Q said with a shrug. "Life just kept getting in the way."

@Agent_Trevelyan Q smiled and nudged Alec with his elbow. Looking up at him, his expression softened. "That's all I really want."

@Agent_Trevelyan "Hopefully," Q nodded in agreement. "I still need to marry you, you know." He looked up at him with a small smile.

@Agent_Trevelyan "A bit, yeah," Q nodded, glancing up at him. "I missed this. Just being together. So much has happened recently that we haven't had time."

@Agent_Trevelyan Q held onto alec's arm with his other hand and leaned his head against his shoulder as they walked. He couldn't remember the last time they had let themselves just be normal.

@Agent_Trevelyan Q was glad to get out of the house. He had needed the fresh air and he was sure that Alec could use some as well. They needed some time away, without worrying about the next step.
