Watching Tony Bennett’s news conference and he is honest and genuine on why he wasn’t the right fit for the current state of the game. He’s old school. He embraces players getting compensation but worried about the overall health of college sports going forward. He elevated @UVAMensHoops. His character never changed. Bennett leaves UVA knowing he did it the right way. Bennett said he thought about this decision in the spring but was energized by the new class of Cavaliers. But a fall break trip with his wife Laurel last weekend allowed him to re-evaluate his life’s priorities. And that’s when he knew it was time.

It’s moments like these when I think about people who don’t enjoy sports and I wonder what they’re doing right now. Maybe a nice book or museum or hike or something. All lovely, I’m sure.
Gimme this.
the nfl spent a lot of time last year, post-Tua, about how they'd be overly cautious. no concussion eval for Mahomes after the helmet crack last night. whatever that just was for Stafford just now. so ... yeah.
Love this from Viktor:
“A lot of people over estimate how much they can do in one day, but they under estimate what they can do over time”
Amazing mindset. Improvement isn’t about big jumps, it’s about continually getting better 👌
