Surely they arnt going to allow academy football to boys and not girls 🤷🏼‍♀️ what kind of a message does that send out!! Are girls not as important 😡😡

[Jamie Holmes @HolmesyJR]

@FA please explain why boys in academies are permitted to continue training during this new lockdown but girls in RTC’s (academy equivalent) are not. These girls are Elite for their gender. #discrimination @Lionesses @stephhoughton2 @FAWSL_PLAYERS_ #girlscandoanything

[REX/\MUS @DJT_REX]

@FA my daughter is RTC player and I thought that meant she was considered as part of the women’s elite game but when it come to COVID she is treated the same as grass roots and young boy playing for academies are considered elite and young women are not? Straight up sexist.

[Ricky Matthews @R1ckyMatthews]

@GirlsontheBall @CoachSarahLewis So girls RTCs have to close but boys academies carry on. #everydaysexism

[Ricky Matthews @R1ckyMatthews]

The highest tier of girls football in the UK has just been cancelled while the boys equivalent continues.

The FA have just confirmed how they perceive the women's game Elite=Men/Boys.
Non-Elite=Women/Girls.

As a result of the government's new national COVID-19 restrictions, we've issued an update regarding their impact on 'non-elite' football:

A common method in the building industry of providing kick backs to site managers for favours. https://t.co/qkIjXu8Gzm

[Ricky Matthews @R1ckyMatthews]

@MKDonsFC @MKDonsFCWomen Must be disappointing to score and then be referred to as 'trialist' in the match report. 😐

@Jonatha135113 @PeteApps Ken Knight had been a long time retired in 2018. Which gives an appearance that compliance whilst actually in the job leads to a nice income and a high profile, political, appointment in retirement. KK isn't a fire chief, he's part of the problem.

[Ricky Matthews @R1ckyMatthews]

@Jonatha135113 @PeteApps Fire chiefs in the US are members of the IAFF and will campaign for improved safety regardless of cost. Having been to a few LGA fire conferences in the past, ours repeat parrot like whatever that years relevent minister says.
