@RealOldman001@BRICSinfo How do you think that goes if the world sees the US conduct unilateral (we won't say illegal) wars and then steals the foreign countries assets to pay for it?
It doesn't end well for the US and the USD. What country would hold US treasuries? And if no one will fund your debt?
@StarDestr0yer Surprised to see AR9 there. I haven't been invested for a long time but weren't they getting some government cybersecurity contracts? Whatever the case I don't remember them being anywhere near deserving of a 10 worst title
@ash948311@ozsarsparella@DHughesy@AustralianLabor I believe in paying tax.
The new rules don't allow indexing of losses along with indexing of your cost base which warps CGT to ridiculous levels.
Also how does charging min 30% help lower socio-economic? That's a tax on poorer people trying to get ahead.
@JagTheHero@JMLV51@HormuzLetter Part of the two part test is that it directly and exclusively powers military related infrastructure. If you read that there is hardly anything that would qualify as legitimate
@DaleMack1113@HormuzLetter You know the US sells to Israel right? And anyone else they can. The US also put in place the Taliban, Saddam Hussein and the current Itanian regime. How Chriatian of you
This is a very good paper on capital gains tax design. Mark’s conclusion: “the revenue maximising rates are low, often NEAR ZERO, and below common statutory rates; welfare maximising rates are lower still.”
