I've ported Thunder Cross (Arcade, 1988, Konami) to the Sharp #X68000.

An unofficial fan port. The page converts ROMs you own into a bootable disk image.
Recommended: X68000 XVI (16 MHz). Requires 4 MB of RAM.
Running on real X68000 XVI hardware.
@Syd_Lexia Ayyye now, I will not hear this Super Punch-Out slander. It surpasses the arcade original in every way, in my opinion. I would even say out of all the Punch-Out games, Mike Tyson's is by far the worst.
I agree with the rest.
Shot on 16mm and rephotographed frame by frame over four years, the new 4K restoration of BEGOTTEN presents the film in the complete photographic form it was always meant to possess.
Now in theaters: https://t.co/G01bSGWDrl
A day early, but in honor of Fallout 2's anniverary, here's how we used to do area designs for the old isometric games - in this case, New Reno.
Maps were hand-drawn (had to use that Architecture minor for something).
And thanks to Scott Everts for actually making these maps playable. : )

@St1ka I didn't think it was a hot take until I saw the comments LMAO
SNES RPGs, SHMUPs, and of course fighting games are unarguably better.
If you're only into platformers, then yeah I think NES is better, simply because SNES plats are mostly the same with better presentation.
@TheMG3D Yes.
The use of Gen AI shows a blatant misunderstanding of - if not open disdain for - the purpose of art. It treats it purely as a commodity. Something to slap on your product to cut costs and get it done quicker.
Why would I expect the game as a whole to be any different?
This RTX build of super Mario 64 wrongfully received a DCMA.
So I'm reposting it for the viewers and to raise awareness.
Check out this Excellent PC port of super Mario 64 that includes no game files and can only be played with your legal copy of Super Mario 64!
Please like and share it! Show your friends, family, your dog, your neighbors. EVERYONE 😄
SIR PATRICK STEWART (1940-2026)
Before everything else, Patrick was defined by being born and bred in Yorkshire, the proud county in the north of England which he loved to the end. You could hear it in his accented voice and in the stern honesty with which he told you what he thought and felt. Yorkshiremen have no truck with half-truths or avoidance of big issues. He wore his heart on his sleeve, which made him a man to rely on, to admire and in my case, love.
We first met as ambitious young actors with the Royal Shakespeare Company half a century ago but we weren’t in the same productions. My first strong memory was a few years later, meeting him in the street in central London when he told me about an offer to take over a leading part in 'Star Trek'. “But Patrick think of your stage career in the UK. Do you really want to risk—getting lost in Hollywood for years and years?”. Well, he took the risk and thank goodness for us all that he did for not just his devoted Trekkies but film and theatre audiences, who marvelled at his using international celebrity to star in a string of cinema successes ('X-Men' of course) and in great classical plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen, Arthur Miller, Peter Shaffer, Pinter and Beckett at Stratford-upon-Avon, in London’s West End and on Broadway.
America was his adopted home, where he met his adored Sunny who has cared for him through sickness and health, through thick and thin. But he never forsook his origins: and the proudest achievement of the most respected and beloved actor of his generation on either side of the Atlantic, was his appointment as Chancellor of Huddersfield University in Yorkshire.
His farewell performance in 'Avengers: Doomsday' is yet to be seen.

"No trophies of my triumphs precede me. But I have lived well, and my ghost shall rest easy. Men are but flesh and blood. They know their doom, but not the hour. In this I am blessed to see the hour of my death... To face my apportioned fate, then fall."
@susravioli My man is out here in a Death shirt too. Total gigachad, love to see it.

I'm also collaborating on overall gameplay, level storytelling, music enhancements and such.
Our skills are kinda complimentary, which makes working together quite nice. ^^
