@charlieo_conn Bourque doesn’t fit their model. He’s between Jett and Nesbitt from a size perspective. You need to be a small fast skater who can’t finish or a large slow skater who can’t finish to fit the system.
@TheLibertyYell Hemming is a beast and if he slips to 19, I’d find a way to trade up for him and get him out of Boston College. Would make parting with Tippett in a trade a lot easier.
@ADiMarco25 Has to be the huge Comcast pot of gold for a player on a team that counts pennies. 20 x 7 to Carlsson. Dipping your toe in doesn’t work. Then use the rest of your assets (including Michkov, the Toronto pick and other assets) to get Werenski.@DannyBriere48 it’s just that easy 😊
@dsilver88 No consideration for Skinny Joey’s @skinnyjoeym? Seriously, it’s become an icon in a very short time. This is disappointing and disrespectful.
@insiderJmoney I am a long suffering 46 year old Flyers fan. I have amazing dirt cheap Boston College hockey tickets in large part due to the fact that I live 500 feet from BC. Oskar Hemming fits the Martone mold. Worried Kevin Hayes would corrupt him at BC if he was drafted by the Flyers.
@BroadStHockey Tocchet=hockey socialism. All players are equal. Works if ur Carolina (i.e. China) where your model is better than everybody else. His version is clunky, it’s not like Brind’amour’s Carolina or Jacques Lemaire’s Devils. Didn’t work in Vancouver & won’t in Philly. @DannyBriere48
@ADiMarco25 -Vladar-home run
- Dvorak-great acquisition bad extension
-Jiracek-jury’s out, high risk/reward
-Unloading F&F club(Frost&Farabee), home run
-Martone over Hagens great decision
-Barkey-seems good,Jett
-seems bad(effective 4th liner?)
-Tocchet-unmitigated disaster
