31st time this year the greens have been Verti Drained or tyned. Massive effort by the staff to push the envelope and get over them all every Wednesday!!
Seeing sunrises that most people miss is a great part of working on a golf course. This beauty from @RoyalAdelaideGC also highlights how golf courses can benefit their communities. ➡️ https://t.co/WtIlVWcl5x
@smb_72@jwcwahoo @CGCGreenkeeper @CGC1929 So what you are asking for is the bunker, which is a hazard, to prepared like a playing surface? Constant, uniform lies. The golfer that misses the bunker never complains about depth, moisture content, or “direction of rake lines”. Seriously!!!!!!
The 3rd at Royal Adelaide might be the best hazardless short par-4 I’ve ever played. Designed by Alister MacKenzie, this drivable hole plays 292yds from a blind tee to a mounded fairway that drops to a long green protected by low berm. Chipping over the berm is fun and dangerous.
@bamabearcat@RoyalAdelaideGC Glad you enjoyed it @bamabearcat great to meet you at the Renaissance Cup and thrilled you finally got to play RA. I think you may have been surprised at how frequent the train passed through!!
MASSIVE SHOUT OUT to the @RoyalAdelaideGC grounds staff - who are out here grinding at 7:30pm to keep this place looking as unbelievable as it does! 💪👏👍🙏

Thrilled to be watching the grounds staff and volunteers, from around the country and overseas, preparing a beautiful surface for the ISPS Handa Australian Women’s Open, with a fleet of Toro’s. Congratulations to Nathan and his team @toroaus@RAGC_Links
