Following a confirmed case of Foot and Mouth Disease in Germany, the UK Chief Veterinary Officer is urging livestock keepers to remain vigilant for signs of disease, follow scrupulous biosecurity & report any suspicion of disease immediately to the Animal and Plant Health Agency.
The SRUC Vertical Farming Innovation Centre was opened by @JimFairlieLogie at our Edinburgh campus. The facility will be available to students and researchers to support new skills and knowledge of growing a range of plants under controlled growing conditions.
