Charlie Kirk got assassinated in front of a crowd. A lot of people were filming. This was a planned public execution, as the sniper was a professional who could shoot from a distance of 100m away. This staged act aimed to trigger a social revolution. This generation relies on social media for news. It only took a bit before we started noticing the oppressive system we live in,
which causes half of the current social problems. People are now saying “No one deserves to die this way” and getting back “Kids in Gaza die every day and no one feels shame for them”. It’s ironic, now that a white powerful republican died in such a graphic and public way, people only now start to realise the importance of a human life. Equality matters, so the same way it applies to the innocent victims who loose their life or their family just because a guy with power decided to throw some orders around. Violence shouldn’t be used to resolve political conflict. No death should celebrated. It’s time to wake up and question our values.
