[TheParachuteRegiment @TheParachuteReg]

🪂 On This Day – 22 June 1940
Winston Churchill ordered the creation of Britain’s airborne forces:
“Let us form a corps of at least 5,000 parachute troops.”
From that vision, the Parachute Regiment was born — elite, fearless, and always ready!

Ready for anything 🇬🇧🆎

We had the pleasure of welcoming @VHScotland to the @dukesgolf as the veterans caddied for 6 excellent golfers. In slightly warmer conditions it was great to see some great ball striking as golfers were navigated brilliantly around the 18 holes.

Great to see the latest session of @CaddieSchoolVet get underway out on the @dukesgolf with the veterans taking it in turn to caddie for each other. Looking great in their @Glenmuir1891 kit. Huge thanks as always to our principle sponsor @Kohler
