Sooo... for every million new infections, we might expect 100K-200K (mostly young) people living with long covid.

Many will find their ability to work or study affected.

This is the consequence of 1 variant doubling every 8 days or so taking over from another variant that is declining - growth in total cases accelerates. Once delta near 100% of cases, growth rate will stabilise but at a high level. Still Not good .
