As part of the Commonwealth Clean Oceans Plastics Campaign and the King’s Baton Relay, the Caribbean Youth Environment Network St Vincent and the Grenadines led an inspiring plastic clean-up in Biabou, Saint Vincent - joined by @olympicsvg, local athletes, and enthusiastic schoolchildren.
In just 3 hours, the team collected 728 pounds of waste, including 1,576 pieces of plastic, helping to restore local beaches and rivers. 💪♻️
👏 A huge congratulations to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines for their commitment to a cleaner, healthier environment and for showing what community action can achieve.
