PRESS RELEASE
The Rivers State Police Command wishes to inform the general public that a statewide clampdown on vehicles operating without valid registration number plates, or with covered or obscured number plates, will commence on Monday, 16th March 2026.
Similarly, any vehicle found using revolving or flash lights without an official letter of approval from the appropriate authority will be impounded.
This enforcement exercise is aimed at enhancing public safety, strengthening crime prevention efforts, and ensuring strict compliance with traffic regulations across the state.
