The original post clearly wrote Konkani, you went ahead & called it Marathi. Either you do not have the ability to read or you did it deliberately!

A curly haired person is called ⟪मुद्याळो⟫ mudyāḷo /ˈmud̻jäɭ̆ɔ/ (m.) {⟪मुद्याळी⟫ (f.)} in #Konkani because the hair strands look like small rings 💍; a ring is called ⟪मुदी⟫ mudī (f.) in Konkani (⬶ Skt. ⟪मुद्रिका⟫ mudrikā).
The TV show “Malvani days” though good in content, did the task of creating a misconception in the minds of Marathis about Malvani/Konkani because the language used in the show is a weird mix of Marathi and Malvani/Konkani and a such weird mix exists only in the show!

@Konkanist@sadbathy I do not think the creator of the map cares. Why would they care though? They’re not even from the area. It’s just an insignificant matter (small languages communities and groups should just be more accommodating and “tolerant” to language surpemacism apparently) in their pov.
@Konkanist@sadbathy Trans people are big on self identity & allowing the concerned individual to identify themselves as they feel or with what they relate to, but that doesn’t apply to ethnicities it seems. Self-identity is something to be ignored when it comes to communities identifying themselves.
