@onepoundhouse@PaoloNutini@O2VicWarehouse I’ve seen him at a few other places in Manchester and last night was by far the worst! I won’t go back to Victoria Warehouse for anyone I want to actually see and hear.
@O2VicWarehouse - you’ve totally oversold @PaoloNutini tickets tonight. Gutted 😢. Never been to a gig where I’ve been unable to get in the room. Like I’m outside of the venue behind the rows of people, brick pillars, really poor TVs and no upstairs speakers 👎.
@Sarahbroliver@PaoloNutini A tour years ago is still one of the best gigs I’ve been to, but last night was definitely the worst gig I’ve been to. Entirely down to the venue @O2VicWarehouse which made it impossible to enjoy.
@beneast74 Totally agree. There was a group of lads near us who gave up after 2 or 3 songs and went back to town to avoid the chaos and have a better time. I’ve seen Paolo Nutini at the Apollo, arena and both were much more enjoyable because of the venue.
@MCRMetrolink staff telling us the shockingly insufficient (normal Sunday) service following @ManUtd & @ManCity is because the “womens game doesn’t get as many fans”. @AndyBurnhamGM is this the attitude you want to represent our city internationally? I’m #ashamed
@MCRMetrolink@footballiceland Really disappointed…end of the game and come for the met. Then to be told by metrolink employees that because it’s only womens football there isn’t any extra mets. How are we going to move forward with the game with that attitude representing such a big company. @WEURO2022
We would like to thank @MichaelGove for a constructive meeting today.
This is our statement following his speech in the House of Commons
#EndOurCladdingScandal
There are fire safety concerns, there's the constant worry about finances, but it's also about life choices taken away from us.

#EndOurCladdingScandal
@lewis_goodall And yet leaseholders are paying for the remedial bills of developers. This is immoral and unfair from the supposed ‘party of home ownership’ @RishiSunak
There’s no escaping that the Government needs to legislate to stop remediation costs being passed to leaseholders; and it needs to adopt our proposal for a Building Works Agency to quickly & effectively assess, fix, fund & certify every building. #BuildingSafetyCrisis
See also: Saying “developers should pay” is not the same as forcing them to pay.
We’ve ended up in a conversation politically that seems to expects most of this money to come from the taxpayer OR leaseholders, ignoring the guys who built these buildings.
Hopefully this will make things happen to give us safe places to live & end the stress we’ve been under for 4 years. Thanks @LucyMPowell I’m proud to have you represent my constituency and others affected by this #BuildingSafetyCrisis
🏡🏗 THREAD: The government’s inertia and indifference means the cladding scandal is now a building safety crisis, devastating lives and destroying livelihoods. Homeowners and tenants are trapped with unaffordable costs in unsafe, unsellable homes. /1
Today protests are taking place nationwide on the building safety scandal.
I joined protests on the Isle of Dogs.
The message to the government and developers: stop the buck passing and come together to put first the millions of people being plunged into bankruptcy and crisis.
