@thetimes There needs to be a lot more investment in health visitors and infant feeding teams to improve health standards for our babies and infants- we are currently failing.
@BTTFmusical@LeighFrancis We brought the kids to watch on the night you were Strickland… they LOVED it! They also loved seeing an actual real life spice girl in the audience 👏🏻 what a night!!
The horrifying reality of being a woman, perfectly summarised by @_CaitlinORyan
If you give even the slightest shit about women, watch it all. This is what it’s like.
@Alison_Morton2@iHealthVisiting@ADPHUK Such a hugely important issue that has for too long been neglected and impacts on all aspects of health throughout life. Working in Blackpool I see this each and every day and it’s heartbreaking.
@sleeplessinNW @sjmillery @SAPHNAsharonOBE No, but if the government was serious about wanting to improve long term physical and emotional outcomes, reduce obesity and save people money there would be worst places to start than investing in improving breast feeding education and support.
@sjmillery @SAPHNAsharonOBE I mean breastfeeding is free and leads to much better health outcomes for baby and mum and society as a whole 🤷🏼♀️ the government should be putting much more support into this and increasing BF rates. In Sweden you are not able to buy formula, they have BF rates of 95%!
We were delighted that @5_News featured our survey findings in a news story on 25 Jan. A very positive piece that highlighted the value of #HealthVisiting. Watch the news story here: https://t.co/UMJHyTD7Od
@StephenYule This absolutely should be standard practice. Too many young men/dads struggling with mental health and not enough recognition or response provided by the NHS. Things are changing but very slowly ❤️
@DanielHewittITV@JolyonMaugham Poor housing has such a detrimental effect on physical and emotional health. Working in the community in Blackpool I am shocked daily by the conditions young families are forced to live in.
@PaoloNutini really sad that we paid all that money not to be able to see or hear you in Manchester tonight. You have gone from being my best gig ever to the worst gig ever.
