President Emmerson Mnangagwa's @edmnangagwa invitation to all losing presidential candidates from the 2023 elections to join the Political Actors Dialogue (POLAD) marks a significant step towards inclusivity and cooperation in Zimbabwean politics. This move demonstrates the President's commitment to fostering a culture of open dialogue and collaboration, crucial for addressing the key issues facing the nation.

POLAD serves as a platform for diverse political voices to engage in constructive discussions, share ideas, and contribute to policy development for the betterment of Zimbabwe. In this spirit of collaboration, opposition leaders are encouraged to seize this opportunity to express their views, work together with the government, and build consensus on critical matters.

However, certain critics, such as Hopewell Chin'ono @daddyhope, Fadzayi Mahere @advocatemahere, and Tendai Biti, have questioned the motives behind this reconciliatory move, alleging that ZANU PF is attempting to absorb opposition voices into its own structures. These allegations fail to acknowledge the importance of dialogue and partnership in a healthy democracy.

By involving all political actors in the decision-making process, POLAD aims to strengthen Zimbabwe's democratic institutions and cultivate a sense of shared responsibility for the country's future. If Nelson Chamisa truly loves Zimbabwe and is committed to its progress, he should join POLAD and actively participate in the discussion of crucial issues affecting the nation.

President Mnangagwa's invitation to opposition leaders to join POLAD signifies a new chapter in Zimbabwe's political landscape. This move towards inclusivity and cooperation presents a valuable opportunity for political actors to work together, put aside partisan politics, and prioritize the common goal of advancing Zimbabwe's development and prosperity.

➡️ They thought they had finally accomplished it.

They patted themselves on their backs and hugged each other, and gathered in darkened rooms to pop expensive champagnes and break open imported whiskies, and toasted THEMSELVES on finally creating a long-sought-after ONE PARTY STATE. 🍾

The official opposition was now THEIRS – lock, stock and barrel. 🔒

The ONLY and greatest threat to their CRIMINAL EMPIRE had been LOCKED in an elaborately-constructed cage, where he would remain, FOREVER.

A cage that THEY controlled.
A cage that they could manipulate to try to pressure him into forming a GNU, that would give them the legitimacy they are starving for...

This caged existence was carefully layered with crooked judges, manufactured political players, corrupt colleagues, tainted police officers, unscrupulous lawyers, and illegal actions.

It was their GREATEST work. A beautiful, well-resourced and maniacal power play.

You see, when you are a FAKE, illegitimate President and Government and you are aware that the ENTIRE world knows it, you spend sleepless nights fretting about the true owner of the drum.

His existence bothers you. When you think about him and the love and respect he garners domestically and internationally, you start spiralling in panic and your mind starts spinning illusory narratives
And EVEN surrounded by your hundreds of millions of dollars of looted wealth, your glaring ILLEGITIMACY makes you exist in cold panic and chronic ANXIETY.

When you’re an oppressor, BREAKER of bones, STEALER of dreams and AUTHOR of stifled potential and mass suffering - and live SURROUNDED by 10 million+ anguished citizens that DESPISE you - yours is an existence of anxiety, distrust, jumping at shadows and constantly wondering if and WHEN “D-Day” will arrive for you. 🪓

No amount of guns, tear gas, water cannons and MERCENARIES posing as a National Army, Central intelligence, or Police can stop a hundred thousand long-suffering people who have decided “ENOUGH”!
Let alone MILLIONS of them...

When you exist adorned in borrowed robes and a stolen crown, it is an UNEASY state of being. Because you never know WHEN and how the true owners will return to claim what is theirs.

Your very existence becomes about marking HIM, because HE is the one with the BALL, the mandate, the influence, the recognition, and the LOVE of the people.

And so they directed an astounding amount of RESOURCES, personnel and TIME into infiltrating, dividing, removing, decimating - and constructing a yellow cage to entrap those they fear.

But they forgot ONE thing.

He is not like THEM.

THEY exist fuelled by money, power, ego and personal gain.

So they could NEVER imagine anyone simply WALKING AWAY from power and influence, and from something he had worked so hard to build - through many dangers, frustrations and betrayals.

So they were CELEBRATING.
They said, “LOOK at this beautiful yellow cage we have built for him and his friends. We OWN him now.”

Be THEN... he did the unimaginable.

He looked around, and said, “This castle we have built is now toxic, the walls are now moulded and crumbling, and it no longer represents the envisioned vehicle that can deliver the FREEDOM AND HAPPINESS of our people. I can NO longer be associated with it.”

And he walked away. 🚶🏾
He opened the cage door and simply walked out.

And the beautiful people of Zimbabwe walked out WITH him.

And left the oppressors and their minions, holding a cloud of vapour and nothingness. 🌬️

All their months of effort and expectations flushed down the sewer in a single day.

The prima donna had exited the stage.

And NOW they are panicking - running this way and that - petrified, confused, angry and shocked! 😱
“What now??? What do we do? What is he doing? What is he thinking? Who is he working with? What are they planning??!”

And they are SHOWING their flustered hand by attacking and threatening HIM night and day, even though he has resigned as Party leader!

It’s because they KNOW, what every Zimbabwean knows. That @nelsonchamisa is the TRUE President. The LEADER in waiting. 👑

And he commands the genuine LOVE of the people.
They are with HIM, not the polluted CCC and it’s remaining proxies.

Do not despair Zimbabweans. Rome wasn’t built in a day.
We WILL see the Country all of us desire and envision.

Hold fast to hope. 🇿🇼

A LEADERSHIP DROUGHT IN ZIMBABWE..Drought in Zimbabwe has become a perennial challenge evidenced by persistent extreme weather conditions. Poverty, disease, cholera also characterize our national perils. These all constitute major threats to our national security. It’s like we’re stuck in a time loop since ‘07/‘08. This points to leadership failure.

Declaring a state of emergency after the fact is too little too late, lame and lacking. We’ve ignored warnings from experts including UN, WHO, WFP and our own meteorological teams who gave these warnings more than a year ago. Our lack of preparedness shows that the drought of leadership and strategy is OUR BIGGEST DROUGHT HAZARD.

We’ve got dams but they’re underdeveloped, silting up with no de-silting plans. We have too many undeveloped dam sites. We lack the right water harnessing and harvesting plans.

Other countries with less rainfall manage better. With the right leadership and proper governance, Zimbabwe would be evergreen.We have a great deal for Zimbabwe- the Green Agenda revolution.

Climate-smart solutions need proactive strategy, not reactive policy. Our water systems and land use needs effective management for preservation and sustainability.

Declaring disaster late is no solution. Lives have been lost and continue to be lost the policies are floppy, sloppy, slow and weak.

We’re ready to provide the leadership that acts, not react. We must resolve the drought of leadership. Zimbabwe deserves better. We must fix the broken politics, resolve the disputed elections conundrum, reverse the rigged elections scourge and restore majority rule. Zimbabwe needs a CITIZENS GOVERNMENT. #OnePeople

THIS ZIMBABWE MUST COME…This was at Doroi camp in Mozambique before the 1980 independence. The young people had so much hope in the future. This hope has not materialized. In 2018, they took away the MDC-T and gave it to another.
Then, we formed the MDC Alliance.

In 2020, they took the MDC Alliance and gave it to another.
They further took away our Headquarters, took away assets, finances..political party funding,
They recalled over 25 MDC Alliance MPs from Parliament to leave me naked.
Then founded the CCC from nothing.

In 2023, they took the CCC and gave it to another, this time to their own invention and creation.
All this in an attempt to degrade, demean defocus, weaken and destroy.

In 2024, as if that is not enough, now they are threatening to take away my life.

I have no regrets whatsoever!! Our cause is just - A better life for everyone. Dignity for everyone. Happiness for everyone. Freedom for everyone.

Remember, #Godisinit is the author and giver of life.
