An emotional farewell to Lt Gen Ivan Jones as he leaves the Field Army. It has been a privilege having you as CFA and what an amazing high to finish a 35 year career on! Sir, thank you for everything you have done. We wish you all the luck for the future. @BritishArmy
Commandant QGE and entire QGE Pariwar would like to congratulate Maj Kamal Khapung Limbu MVO (GM QGE) and Capt Khadka Gurung (GRCMO) on their successful conversion from Intermediate Regular Commission (IRC) Late Entry (LE) to Regular Commission (REg C) (LE).

The first annual Royal Engineers Field Gun dinner on board the exclusive HMS Victory. Half Colours ties were presented to 8 individuals for their commitment over the last 5 years.
A huge thanks to our Field Gun Officer, WO1 (soon to be Captain) Ally McMillan for a great evening.
It was an honour to have Lt Gen Ivan Jones CB to attend the Brickwoods Field Gun Competition, present the plate one trophy to HMS Neptune and present our sponsor @Pearson_Eng_Ltd with our final run top. @team_endeavour@Proud_Sappers @field_army
@XOTrainingVCC @team_endeavour@Pearson_Eng_Ltd@Proud_Sappers@RNRMC @VCCHQ It was a pleasure, a few of the crew used to be cadets back in their day and always appreciated it when members of the forces would come and talk to them. Think our guys were trying to get some tips on Field Gun.
@Strideforth@AllyMcM80 Many thanks Austin, the crew love being part of such an amazing competition. We know you have a soft spot for us, as you get that little more excitement in your voice when you announce us on the track π€£π€π»πͺπ»
Another fantastic year at HMS Collingwood for the Brickwoods trophy, the crew have worked hard and left it all out on the track. This year the crew made it into the plate 1 final but unfortunately came second place by point six of a second. Well done to all the crews.
In a very rare turn of events the winners of the Field Gun Competition 2019 is a joint 1st place between the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and HMNB Portsmouth. Great day had by all. Join us again next year.
