Its main objective is to conduct the largest GWAS to date on cardiovascular disease in this population and improve predictions of cardiovascular incidence, using genomic and clinical data.
El objetivo principal es llevar a cabo el mayor GWAS hasta el momento de enfermedad cardiovascular en esta población, para mejorar las predicciones cardiovasculares utilizando información genómica y clínica.

ENG | New scientific article ❗❗ “Trajectories of antidepressant use and 6-year change in body weight: a prospective population-based cohort study.” This study establishes the relationship between antidepressants use and weight increase, using data from the REGICOR cohort.
The research included 3,127 adults with 6-year follow-up data. The results indicate that people taking antidepressants show a higher weight gain than those not taking them, with this increase being approximately of 2%.
ESP | Nuevo artículo científico ❗❗ “Trajectories of antidepressant use and 6-year change in body weight: a prospective population-based cohort study.” El estudio analiza la relación entre el consumo de antidepresivos e incremento de peso, utilizando datos de la cohorte REGICOR.
La investigación ha incluído 3.127 personas adultas que se han seguido durante 6 años. Los resultados indican que las personas que toman antidepresivos muestran un incremento de peso más elevado que las que no los toman, siendo este incremento de aproximadamente un 2%.
