"I'm Susan Leigh, and I've been an orthoptist since 1979, working in London. I've worked part time at the Royal Free London since 2002, and love being part of the team. I've reached that certain age when I can retire but I've chosen to reduce my hours."(1/3)
"I love that every clinic is different, and meeting new people, interacting and getting the best out of my patients, especially children. I also enjoy working with so many different people of all ages and backgrounds. We learn from each other and that's so rewarding." (2/3)
We are delighted to have welcomed our first patients to the Wood Green Community Diagnostic Centre this morning 👏💙
The CDC offers blood, eye, ultrasound and x-ray appointments in @MallWoodGreen — bringing diagnostic tests closer to your home.
Each week our consultant ophthalmologists, junior doctors, and orthoptists in the strabismus and paediatric teams across our sites get together. They meet to talk about surgical cases of varying complexities with excellent teaching and support from experienced team members!
This Tuesday, join people across the UK as they raise a cuppa to celebrate the #NHS while raising funds to help support patients, staff and researchers across @RoyalFreeNHS.
