In the US, it is estimated that 1.4 million adults identify as transgender. Transgender women are affected by HIV and are at a higher risk of contracting HIV. According to current CDC estimates, around a quarter (22-28%) of transgender women are living with HIV. #DefeatHIV#RTR
We had a great turn out at the ALA Kickinโ Asthma training session today. We look forward to volunteering at different elementary schools and teaching students about asthma! We now have 24 trained asthma educators! ๐ค
