In May 2022 #RahulGandhi publicly expressed admiration for Chinas #BeltAndRoadInitiative (BRI) in an interview at #CambridgeUniversity on the ground that it afforded prosperity to countries that chose to join it. The #BRI passes through #POK which is an integral part of India, illegally occupied by Pakistan. Indeed the Indian govt under #PMModi has opposed the BRI on the ground that it passes through POK and also opposed #CPEC which is the Pak component of the BRI. Earlier on 22nd Feb 1994 both Houses of Parliament had already unanimously passed a resolution that Pakistan must vacate POK. Here are some questions for our new #LOP: 1. Does he affirm the unanimous resolution of both Houses of Parliament of 22.2.1994 that Pak should vacate POK? 2. Does he oppose the BRI? 3. Does he support #IMEC ? 4. Does he support the Adani acquisition of Haifa port in Israel over China’s attempt to acquire it ? 5. Does he realise that Haifa is vital for IMEC inasmuch as it enables a sealink from the Middle East part of IMEC to a European port ( Piraeus in Greece e.g, ) ? 6.Does he affirm the unanimous resolution of Parliament of 14th November ( his late grandfathers birthday ) 1962 to recover the 38000 square km of territory ( Askai Chin) illegally occupied by China since Feb 1962 ?
