My new PIN post. May 2026
Hello, I'm on X to check on news. Viruses, health, science, antibiotic resistance, space, AI, way too much politics, world affairs, planes and birds.
I use Lists vs Follow folks. I'm not trying to get clicks, but maybe see you around in some comments.
@MattWalshBlog You are so right on this point, Mr. Walsh.
Nah nah nah... enough with the EGO @POTUS . This isn't about YOU!
Use our military bands - so many talented singers and musicians to call upon!
@JohnCornyn I voted for Wesley Hunt over both of you though, so Texas disagreed. I voted for you and thought you had the best chance to beat Talarico, but guess others disagreed.
Now what to do in November? Libertarian, I guess.
I'm just a "no" on Paxton.
Travelers arriving from the DRC, Uganda & South Sudan get temperature check & answer health questions. If travelers are cleared, they should be monitored for 21 days by a state health department at their final destination. Looking for symptoms: vomiting, bleeding, diarrhea, fever. Anyone suspected of having the virus will be taken directly to a local hospital (Emory University Hospital?).
Ebola is not contagious without having symptoms.
Also screening at Dulles, I think.
Should also do some screening on the departure side to USA (hoping they are).
@Eric_Schmitt@KenPaxtonTX I've told my moderate Democrat brother that Talarico is a progressive liberal, but he's still going to vote for him over Ken Paxton in November. He would have voted for Cornyn, but now will vote for Talarico. Paxton will be harder to win than Cornyn in general election.
@Milajoy I want Republicans to hold the Senate, so I voted John Cornyn. I talked to my moderate Democrat brother. He will vote Talarico against Paxton, but would vote Cornyn over Talarico. Interesting conversation.
@BuzzPatterson Actually no!
Trump's "nuclear dust" is about 440 kilograms of 60% enriched uranium stored by Iran in a stockpile. Likely in form of uranium hexafluoride gas stored in large steel tanks or canisters.
The scientists who wrote the "lab leak is a conspiracy theory" letter? They organized it themselves then told each other they needed "the appearance of independence."
Both were paid intel informants. Both worked with the Wuhan lab.
One scientist called it genetically engineered. Days later he wrote the opposite. Then got a $9 million grant.
No conspiracy required. Just people covering their own tracks.
@breccastoll He is walking the walk of a good Commie! He's a member of Democratic Socialists of America & has praised Karl Marx.

βThe Enriched Uranium (Nuclear Dust!) will either be immediately turned over to the United States to be brought home and destroyed or, preferably, in conjunction and coordination with the Islamic Republic of Iran, destroyed in place orβ¦β - President Donald J. Trump
X keeps telling me, as a Boomer, that I'm old and am ruining the world by my mere continuing existence. π€¨

@GregoryScaduto Interesting to read your thoughts. Gee... I'm just about your Mom's age. I don't feel "old" quite yet. I'd be lucky to have had such a thoughtful child, but never was so fortunate to become a Mom. Enjoyed listening to your words.
@DrNeilStone The length from exposure to expression of illness can make hard to keep tracking people, even if know where it started. Hanta & Ebola aren't considered contagious while just incubating & no symptoms. If someone is at risk & shows being sick... alarm!
