The past 18 months we have led a campaign to urge greater Government focus to improve roadside facilities. We are delighted to be leading a new Government taskforce on this issue.
This has been a key ask of our driver facilities campaign.
Here’s a thread on our campaign (🧵1/4)
We need members to provide their feedback on the October deadline for new HGV #DirectVisionStandard rules.
Your comments are valuable and can help make a difference.

Big campaigning win for the RHA in today's #AutumnStatement. Freezing of HGV Levy and road tax will help operators in the difficult economic climate. Thanks to @hmtreasury and @jeremy_hunt for listening to us.
#ThePrincessRoyal pays tribute to our industry as we celebrate 25 years of @TransaidOrg transforming lives across the globe through improving transport… Much more to do… #transaid @ltmuseum
The RHA is proud to pay tribute to the thousands of men and women who lost their lives serving their country by maintaining the vital flow of food and supplies to the nation and the armed forces in times of conflict.
We will remember them.
In partnership with @TRSTraining1, we are proud to introduce the Transport & Warehouse Operations Supervisor Standard.
This programme is designed to meet the training needs of all logistics and road transport organisations.

Let’s hope that Sunday (kickoff 11am), will see them once again bring it home. ⚽️
Interesting article. Hydrogen a key consideration in the road map to net zero and continual emissions reduction in the industry. Food for thought in the uk surely. https://t.co/E8LmgshvTH
On @BBCOxford to discuss row over the A34 improvement scheme at Milton : roads are good for the economy, fewer jams cut pollution - we need lorries to efficiently deliver to this important part of the country - this scheme should get the go-ahead #sophielaw@RHANews
