Yahya's story of separation is one of thousands. When patients are granted medical evacuation, they are often allowed only one companion. A mother leaves with a sick child. A husband stays behind with their other kids. Families are split apart by necessity, forced to make impossible choices in order to save a life. Support now: https://t.co/6l9JFjWInX
Yahya's wife is in Egypt with their baby, seeking treatment after a medical evacuation. While she was away, Yahya was injured while searching for bread for the family. He is now partially paralyzed. His wife cannot return yet. He cannot fully care for himself. And their children are left caught in the middle of a crisis of scarcity and deprivation of basic life necessities.
Who supports the children when both parents are struggling to survive in different ways?
On June 1, The Sameer Project distributed 465 Thai mushroom meals to displaced families inside Ahl al-Khair Camp in Al-Tuffah. For families like Yahya's, a hot meal is one less burden to carry, just for a moment. This distribution cost $1,133 after banking fees of 11%.

Tonight is the result of two developments: the regional balance of force has shifted in a decisive manner, prompting Iran, for the first time ever, to carry military campaign in defence of its allies/ though it could also be framed as self-defense in response to continued violations of Iran territorial sovereignty over the past two days/ and or collective self defence re its regional allies.
Second, there has been a noticeable intensification of demands in response to escalating violence against Lebanon over the past week in the streets of Iran. Many carry Hezbollah flags and have been calling for action. In this, pressure emanating from the popular base of the revolution has significantly shaped the posture of the armed forces, particularly amid internal tensions among differing political factions, including reformist elements within Iran.

@SecondRingSZN@Biyombonesaw I was reading the constitution a few weeks ago, and I think it's important to look at it as what it says it is, an Islamic republic shaped by the history of Iran. "Theocracy", "secular", and "liberal democracy" are all too limiting.
Ahmed was injured during the genocide, shrapnel from an airstrike shattering his leg, and now lives with severe damage to his shin and foot. He suffers from bone loss, nerve injuries, and tendon damage. Every day he walks through rubble to reach The Sameer Project's Tawbah Clinic in Jabalia, where our medical team provides the wound care, dressings, medical supplies, and treatment he depends on to continue healing. Support here: https://t.co/LLwKJegeB1
He still requires daily cleaning and dressing changes - but before we established our clinic in the areas, medical care was out of reach for him, too far to visit daily, leading to infections.
Tawbah Clinic is the only healthcare facility serving this area of Jabalia. There are no hospitals nearby, no alternative clinics, and no safety net for the thousands of people living here. Every day we see approximately 250 patients suffering from injuries, chronic illnesses, infections, malnutrition, and untreated medical conditions.
For many families, Tawbah Clinic is the difference between receiving care and receiving none at all.
Keeping these doors open costs approximately $2,050 every day for medications, medical supplies, staffing, and operations. Every bandage, every prescription, every wound dressing, every patient visit is made possible through YOUR support!
Help us keep Tawbah Clinic running. Help us continue caring for Ahmed and hundreds of others who have nowhere else to turn. Donate to our Medical Campaign link: https://t.co/LLwKJegeB1

Once Upon a Time.
A Red Arabia.
Democratic Yemen remains one of the twentieth century's least studied and least understood experiments of socialist state building.
We at Hamra Books intend to change that.
Who is Handala?
Handala is a national symbol and personification of the Palestinian people.
He is a ten year old boy which represents the age of cartoonist Naji al-Ali when he was forced from his home by Jewish terrorists during the 1948 Nakba ethnic cleansing of Palestine.
The Sameer Project provides almost half a million liters of fresh water everyday in Gaza but it ends up reaching many people contaminated because of the algae and dirt in their jerrycans. There are no substitutes as most people can’t afford food, let alone buying new jerrycans. Help here: https://t.co/1j2S3RoAgU
On June 4th, The Sameer Project gave out 50 jerrycans to the worst cases they found while distributing water in West Gaza, near the yellow line. The containers cost around $410 including the 11% commission.
So for only $8 you can help provide clean water for Palestinians in Gaza. Help us buy more jerrycans by donating today to the General Fund: https://t.co/1j2S3RoAgU

Unmissable PODCAST just dropped by @east_podcast with special guest, my dear Brother @MujammaHaraket
"Not a proxy: Iran and the Palestinian resistance"
https://t.co/P1W3c5AzWz
If you're unfamiliar with Mujamma Haraket, read this:
An academic based in the Middle East, Haraket combines rigorous historical analysis, political insight, and masterful translation skills to illuminate corners of the struggle that mainstream narratives often obscure. His writings delve into the deep roots of Palestinian armed resistance, the founding and evolution of Hamas, the enduring legacy of the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, key biographies of resistance figures, joint operations among factions, and much more. Whether through his meticulously researched Substack essays, in-depth threads, or groundbreaking first-time English translations of seminal Arabic texts, his output stands out for its intellectual honesty, emotional depth, and clarity—making complex histories feel immediate and profoundly human.
His Substack (https://t.co/OdNIHI3KmB) is free to subscribe to and follow, granting access to a growing library of essential material. That said, in an era when Palestinian voices and truthful historical documentation face relentless suppression, sustaining this kind of independent, high-quality work feels like more than just appreciation—it's a necessary act of solidarity. If his research has opened your eyes, challenged assumptions, or simply reminded you of the humanity at the heart of the cause, consider upgrading to a paid subscription. The resources he provides are rare and irreplaceable; your support helps ensure they continue.
Follow @MujammaHaraket on X, read his pieces, share them widely, and elevate his voice. For anyone serious about understanding the Palestinian resistance on its own terms, he remains, hands down, the most indispensable follow on my timeline.
no phrase will ever be funnier than "to their white surprise" and it;s even funnier in context, for that alone J. Sakai deserves to be canonized alongside all the other marxist greats
The medical committee in The Sameer Project constantly reports that one of the main reasons for the outbreaks and diseases are due to the lack of hygiene products. According to their assessments, we are providing hygiene packages to the camps most in need. Support here: https://t.co/1j2S3RoAgU
On June 4th, The Sameer Project gave out 45 hygiene packages to Beit Lahia Camp in North Gaza. The package included a broom, laundry detergent, bleach, tissue, wipes and sanitary pads. Total cost for the parcels with 11% commission was $1,756.
The Sameer Project aspires to do mass distributions of these hygiene packages because they’re extremely necessary. But for that we need your material support.
Donate today to our General Fund for more hygiene package distributions: https://t.co/1j2S3RoAgU
