Today, the Coordinator of Isange One Stop Centre, Bateta Jeanne received a delegation of UN Women Sudan Country Office at Isange One Stop Centre Kacyiru.

Their visit aimed at benchmarking Rwanda’s holistic approach to services offered to victims of gender-based violence and child abuse.

RIB Secretary General @P_Kabanda attended the International Conference on Combating Online Scams held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The two-day conference brought together participants from across the globe to share experiences, good practices and strategies for combating online scams and the criminal networks behind them.

In his remarks, he expressed Rwanda’s appreciation to Cambodia for hosting the conference and highlighted the strong bilateral cooperation in combating human trafficking.

He noted the growing links between online scams, organised crime and human trafficking, and called for stronger international cooperation, information sharing and joint investigations to dismantle these criminal networks and protect victims.

Today, the Coordinator of Isange One Stop Centres, Murebwayire Shafiga received a delegation from the Solidarity for African Women’s Rights coalition on a visit aimed at benchmarking Rwanda’s IOSC model to handling victims of gender-based violence and child abuse.

Their discussions also highlighted how Isange One Stop Centre services align with the Maputo Protocol.

The Inspector General of Police, CG Felix Namuhoranye, together with the Ambassador of Rwanda to the Republic of Korea, Nkubito Manzi Bakuramutsa, met with the Korean National Police University President, Superintendent General KIM Ki-jong, at the university campus in Asan City. They discussed on enhancing cooperation in Police education and explored more areas of collaboration in capacity building programs.

IGP Namuhoranye and his delegation also attended a graduation ceremony at the university where RNP and RIB officers, IP Thomas Akimana, IP Yvette Tumukunde Mutabazi, and Mr Evariste Nkubito, were among the graduands with Master’s degrees in areas related to Policing and Law Enforcement. Two other RNP officers are currently pursuing PhD programs at the Korean National Police University.
