Two of our brilliant Computer Scientists @rochesterindcol were finalists in the @Northeastern Uni's awesome AI Futures Challenge. >1000 participants followed a real-world design brief to develop an onboarding system to support safe AI use at work. Great event NE London!
Welcome back to another fab year @rochesterindcol. So looking forward to teaching you everything from how to stay safe online to how to code. #weheartcode❤️
Season's Greetings to @astro_Pettit and the crew of the International @Space_Station from us Earthbound computer scientists and teachers. Check out this beautiful photograph taken last week!
In space, you can see stars!
I flew a home-made tracking device that allows time exposures required to photograph star fields.
Stay tuned for more photos like this.
Our senior Computer Scientists had a brilliant day @tnmoc last week, many thanks to Sheridan and the team. From Colossus to W.I.T.C.H & beyond we returned inspired. Highlights incl. the Bombe replica in operation, decoding messages & of course @paddingtonbear's @AcornArchimedes.
Freshly sharpened stakes. Routine maintenance @rochesterindcol to protect students and staff from mishaps of this or the other-worldly kind. Happy Halloween. The devil's in the detail!
..and many thanks to all of our supporters too, parents, carers, guardians, @rochesterindcol and our boarding and pastoral teams who have done so much. Thanks also to our fab resource providers @IsaacCompSci@pgonlinepub@csuk_student
@RICCompSci final GCSE exam tomorrow. Best wishes for a great day. Thanks to all parents, carers, staff @rochesterindcol & supporters of our wonderful cohort & many thanks to @IsaacCompSci@pgonlinepub@csuk_student. Now.. computational thinking, algorithms & programming.
