@scout_aussie Fair enough, but I think these are just desperate moves by WSW after they have lost so many talented youth players who they have neglected to other A-League clubs.
This talk of Iraq drawing against a Spain B or C side have no idea how much depth and talent Spain have in their pool. That Spanish line up still had players like Gavi, Ferran Torres, Baena, Porro and Olmo, and that line up is still top 10. So well done Iraq on getting the result
Merchas Doski, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! ๐คฏ
The Iraqiโs first goal for his nation has come in the most ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ fashion against the European champions, Spain.
WOW.

Apparently Olympic Kingsway SC have disabled the comments on their Facebook page and blocking people who comment on their posts, did something happen at the club?
@Chudlubber Well that's Popa in a nut shell, he doesn't care for technical ability, so he only cares about if the players can work hard and play for him and that's it, if the players can't do the 2 then Popa won't select and play them. That how he has been for the last 15 years
Whether you want to disagree with him or not, some of the things he has said is true. Popaball works well in Asia but hasn't worked in other avenues of international football.

๐บ๐ธ great @AlexiLalas with a scathing assessment of the @Socceroos on his @SOTUWithAlexi podcast.
June 19th in Seattle is going to have some extra๐ฅ
@Chudlubber It's not boring but playing this Rope a dope style of football, with no intention to attack thinking it's risk free is going to backfire, it may work assist USA but I'm not so sure it would work against Turkey

South Melbourne FC confirms that Sinisa Cohadzic has been reinstated as Senior Menโs Head Coach.
While the decision to part ways with Cohadzic last week came as a surprise to some, it created an opportunity for both parties to openly address and resolve a number of important matters.
Those discussions were conducted with honesty and professionalism, producing a renewed alignment on the direction of the club with a clear pathway forward for all.
South Melbourne FC and Cohadzic remain united in their shared ambition and commitment to the continued success of the club, the welfare of our players, the love of our fans and the support of our sponsors.
The Clubโs focus is now squarely on the season ahead and the standards we demand of ourselves on and off the pitch and that we move forward as one club, fully focused on the season ahead.
Bill Papastergiadis & Andrew Mesourouni, Club Co-Presidents, South Melbourne FC:
"The Board made a decision that resulted in both parties openly addressing and resolving a number of issues which have now led to a renewed alignment and a clear pathway forward for all.
"Now we ask our South Melbourne family to get behind the team, fill the stadium and show the world why this club is like no other.โ
Sinisa Cohadzic, Senior Head Coach:
"I love this club. I always have. These past few days have been difficult, but what matters is that we move forward together as one club. I'd like to thank the board for working through all the issues and now i'm ready to get back to work."
