On January 14th, Lance was doing the thing he loved most, he was out for a run in Charlotte NC

At 5:47 in the evening, police say 28-year-old Q'Laundra Hood was ran a red light and she hit him, hard.

...and then she drove away.

She left him in the road and kept going.

Lance Sotelo died right there on the streets of Charlotte.
He never even made it to a hospital.

He didn't have life insurance, his family had to start a GoFundMe just to bury their son.

Hood turned herself in and pleaded guilty to felony hit-and-run and involuntary manslaughter.

And on Tuesday, a courtroom packed with Lance's family and friends watched the judge hand down the sentence.

30 days in jail and probation.

Thirty days and $765 restitution... which didn't even cover the funeral costs, by the way.

The family had to start a GO FUND ME just to pay for his funeral.

The latest staged sales pitch is a Sharia-adherent female Muslim officer wrapped in a hijab, presented as proof of how “inclusive” and “compassionate” the force has become.

Do not fall for the pathetic packaging.

That hijab is not a fashion choice. It is a public commitment to Islamic law. Dearborn is demanding that American police uniforms accommodate Sharia covering - that the badge bend to religious rules imported from a system that does not return the favor.

Name one Islamic nation that rewrites its uniforms so Christians, Jews, or Hindus can honor their faiths on duty. You can’t. Accommodation only ever runs one direction.

And none of this is surprising when you look at who runs the department.

Dearborn Muslim Police Chief Issa Shahin stands proudly in front of a Lebanese flag and openly boasts about transforming his force.

He praises his “Arab American” department, now 45% Arab-— up from just 3%. He celebrates hijabs being respected even when facing the justice system. This is the deliberate Islamization of American law enforcement - first the demographics, then the uniform, then the rules.

When the chief himself pushes Islamic accommodations, packs the ranks, and ends his remarks in praise of Allah, you no longer have officers protecting the Constitution.
