• PANTHER ALERT • Congratulations to Lecanto High School sophomore Ryder Pollard on being named a finalist for the Chronicle Baseball Player of the Year!

Ryder has been outstanding for the Panthers this season as a true two-way player, leading Citrus County with a .424 batting average while adding 6 doubles, 4 triples, 2 home runs, 22 runs scored, 29 RBI, and 13 stolen bases. On the mound, he posted a 2.74 ERA in 7 appearances.

Ryder’s work ethic, toughness, and commitment to excellence continue to represent what it means to be a Panther both on and off the field.
