महिला आरक्षण संसद के बाहर महिलाओं के लंबे संघर्ष से निकला है। इस आरक्षण को ढाल बना कर ��नके संघर्ष को दाग़दार बनाया जा रहा था। आज वो कोशिश नाकाम हो गई। वैसे भी महिला आरक्षण बिल नहीं गिरा है। वह तो 2023 में ही पास हो चुका था। मोदी सरकार को बड़ा मौक़ा मिला है। सरकार को चाहिए कि 543 में ही महिला आरक्षण लागू कर दे और 2029 का चुनाव 543 सीटों का हो। मुश्किल है कि सरकार यह भी नहीं कर सकती क्योंकि ऐसा करने पर वह फिर से विपक्षी दलों की माँग का समर्थन कर रही होगी।
