We'll keep saying it over and over until the message gets through: General Iron is not a good neighbor no matter the neighborhood! #StopGeneralIron#DenyThePermits
My partner is an ICU doc, and with his guidance we had this hard conversation in my fam a couple of weeks ago. We made an infographic so you can, too - if you haven't already. #covid19#COVID#VentilatorShortage Special thanks to @CESloss for lending her infographic skills.

@watkinshayes spent *a long time* with me strategizing about my career only hours before the "big day" - departmental celebration of her book release! ππ½π Celeste it means so much to be seen by you... you are just an amazing scholar and person on so many levels.

@braydenk I hear you and I've definitely had that happen. But mostly it's the pressure of filling 40+ pages in 7 days with material that you're only marginally familiar with! It's a mad dash, semi-blind lit review. I know there are better ways to evaluate students.

"No matter where you are from we're glad you're our neighbor."
Uptown, Chicago; #gentrification.
A liberal sentiment. Assuredly does not apply to the low-income, mostly Black residents you displaced when you bought a converted affordable unit.
Since becoming a grad student I've become WAY MORE comfortable with myself...
At least, I am way more comfortable walking around in public wearing basically pajamas.
