General thoughts on the game… #ncfc
- Wright looks to have stepped up and was assured
- Cordoba has really come on under PC
- Kvist is a nuisance, just needs a goal
- Don’t want to be relying on Stacey for too much of the season
- Pre-season games are so dull 😂
Generally pretty pleased with our squad, a few positions aside. I feel like we’ll go back in for a winger now, due to Ahmed’s injury, but that will possibly be a late-ish Premier League loan (dependent on who becomes available). Left back sounds like it’s quite close 🤞🏻 #ncfc
Not ideal, but also not worth losing our heads over. Realistically, they’ll only miss a couple of games and others will step up. We had it far worse last season and Big Phil got us through it!
🚨 #NCFC will be without duo Kellen Fisher and Jovon Makama for the start of the Championship season.
Makama set for four weeks out, Fisher around six.
Huge blow. Both are contact injuries.

Against Egypt VAR combed every second till they found a foul to disallow Egypt’s goal. Here, VAR ignored Messi stomping on Spence’s foot. Egypt’s foul occurred so far from Argentina’s goal unlike Messi’s which is in England’s box.
If the defender gets his leg across and Spence barges into him, the ref gives a free-kick and nobody bats an eyelid. Why is VAR seemingly hell-bent on re-refereeing games?
The referee initially awarded England a penalty before reversing his decision and concluding there was no foul committed on Djed Spence. 🏴
Did you agree?🤔
Even as an xG “believer”, football is all the better for quirks that data can’t always explain! Hull were efficient in both boxes across the season and defied the data. That doesn’t mean that xG is a load of nonsense etc, it’s more that it needs context, explanation and analysis.
A pitch invasion for finishing 6th is absolutely tragic. What’s even more tragic is that 70% didn’t even bother to celebrate with their players and decided to give it the big’un to the away end 😂
#NCFC's head of medical services Chris Burton has announced he is set to leave the club at the end of the season.
Brings a nine-year stint at the club to an end. Leaves to set up his own physiotherapy clinic in Norwich.

Kvistgaarden’s a good player and works hard for the team, but that cameo from Toure showed why he’s ahead of him. Strong, quick, decisive and composed when it really mattered! #ncfc
Very little flow to the game today. Not helped by a combination of us being a bit off and Portsmouth fouling us any time we broke away. The ref had very little control of the game too, which is probably putting it mildly #ncfc
No surprise to hear Marcondes is leaving at the end of the season. The lack of tracking back at Preston was probably the indicator that he wasn’t going to be a Clement player.
Still a decent player and seems like a top guy, so no doubt a great asset to another club! #ncfc
Frustrating defeat as the second half certainly merited a point. Whatever the final few games bring, it’s been a tremendous effort to pull ourselves out of danger. It speaks volumes that we’re a bit disappointed to likely miss out on the play-offs #ncfc
Some awful refereeing decisions across the league yesterday from the clips going about on here. Whilst I generally think it probably “evens itself out” over the season, standards do need to be lifted
We’re better than what we’ve shown in that first half, but perspective is needed. This is a side decimated with injuries against a very solid PL side. #ncfc
Harriet’s “gotcha” moment was woefully executed. Basically had a full on meltdown, shouting at anyone that tried to respond, before suggesting there could be as many as 4/5 (FIVE!!!) traitors. Not the way to win anyone over really… #TheTraitors
