Congratulations to @ArvindKrishna. Such a great message, and it resonates so deeply in all the amazing IBM teams I've had the pleasure to work with. "trust is our license to operate"
Humbled to step into the role of @IBM CEO. Sharing my letter to IBMers today about our essential role in the world and the need for empathy and solidarity as we face this crisis together https://t.co/Zvoi77u8dw
A huge thank you to @WestWingWeekly, @JoshMalina and @HrishiHirway. So sad that it's over. I propose your next project be The West Wing Weekly, Weekly. When you re-listen to each TWWW episode and then spend a podcast dissecting it to the amusement of fans everywhere?
I’ve been arguing for a while we need to shift the entire language.

@WestWingWeekly It's a big day for me. Spent the last 18 months playing catch up. Today's episode is the first I'mlisting to on release day! On the down side, only one episode of TWWW per week for me from here on out.
My meetings today are about: An app that improves your driving. Cultural change through bite sized learning. Semi-autonomous vehicle that adjust to the needs of the driver. Growing designers careers. I love my job #ibmcloudgarage#dayInTheLife
Unless you’re a creative artist, please don’t fall into the trap of thinking your work should “speak for itself.” I see that attitude occasionally from some coders and designers- but other people may need help understanding why your work matters. Help them if you want to succeed!
*sigh* okay:
Frontend dev: hard.
Backend dev: hard.
Language design: hard.
Writing docs: hard.
HTML/CSS: hard.
UI design: hard.
Communicating: hard.
Leading people: hard.
Management: hard.
It's all hard. Each one of these is an endless rabbit hole. And it's not a competition.
To sell Europe on cybersecurity, IBM has turned to a big rig: a fully equipped ops center in an 18-wheel truck. I got a first hand taste of a cyber exercise in the truck - and managed to fall down at the first hurdle. Check it out: https://t.co/wediEI4GM1
