Sen. Mitch McConnell was found unconscious at his Washington, D.C. home on June 14 and taken to a hospital, according to newly released emergency dispatch audio.

The longtime Kentucky Republican was treated by responders at the scene, but no details have been released about what caused the medical episode.

McConnell has been absent from the Senate since the incident, with his office providing no update on his condition or when he plans to return.

This is yet another reminder of why Congress desperately needs term limits. McConnell has served since 1985 and should have retired long ago, would you agree?
